About This Layout

(This Layout was finished on August 17th, 2005.) Yay! I, J-bunny, have actually made something that is not an avatar! ^^ Anyways, here's a little more about the layout that I don't really think you'll want to know, but since I'm so evil I'll tell you anyways. You may be asking, "how did you come up with such a weird name for the layout, J-bunny?". Well, since I'm just so bad at coming up with names (and the names that I do come up with are sappy enough to make you puke your brains out) I decided (with the help of Hika) that the name should have some relation to butterflies (mainly because of the butterflies in the layout and the symbolic usage of butterflies in LOVELESS. So, I went around the internet researching and I stumbled aross the name Cephrenes which is the scientific name of a spiecies of butterfly otherwise known as the "palm-dart". (I thought that this would be the best fit for the layout, plus it was also the easiest to spell and didn't sound like something yucky out of a word garbage can).

I chose to make a Loveless layout because: 1) It's still not THAT well known and there aren't many images of Loveless to choose from so I haven't seen many LOVELESS layouts yet (comparing to more popular animes like Inu-Yasha), 2) I still have an obsession over the artwork of LOVELESS and how pretty it is, 3) On one of my images hunts, I happened to stumble onto this LOVELESS image in a LiveJournal group that I had never seen before and it was practically begging to be made into an avatar or layout. And since I had already made many avatars before hand and needed to make something bigger to update with, I decided to go with the latter and make a layout. (Anyone who uses this layout is extremely lucky because I was tempted to keep this layout for my blog and use it when school started...)

If anyone was wondering, the words on the main Ritsuka image was from a song in LOVELESS called "Tragedies- SEIMEI" I think. It was a background song and you heard the first part and a bit of the middle/end a lot in the series. The song was sung in French, but there are many arguments (still) over what the correct lyrics are and the translations (mainly because the singer was Japanese and they pronounced some of the words funny). The text at the top of the navigation is just some random butterfly related thought that I was pondering about when I made the layout. Nothing really deep there, it's just a space filler because the butterfly stuck at the top of the navigation was interfereing with the text on the navigation. Anyways, I hope that you all enjoy this layout that I slaved over for hours (well, not that long but it took at least 3 hours to make EVERYTHING).

How to use this layout

If you don't already know how, follow these simple (hopefully) instructions and you'll be able to have this layout up in no time at all.

Download this layout (if you didn't already).
Unzip the file (click here to download WinZip) into any directory on your computer.
Click on "index.html" (this page), then open up notepad (right click - View Source [note that this only works when the file is saved on your computer, it won't work after you upload it] and use that to edit this file. You can write anything you want in the content section and don't forget to add the in links! Remember to save your work! (File - Save)
Use a FTP program (or an online file manager) to upload everything of this layout onto your site.

Yay! It's the Goodies section. Here's an avatar set that matches the Cephrenes layout. ^__^ How lucky for you! I wasn't sure which one I liked better sooooo......I decided to put BOTH! That's double the number of avatars that I was going to put originally!
